Gail is a registered representative with Commonwealth Financial Network and holds her series 6 and Series 63 registrations along with Accident/Health, Life, Variable Life and Variable Annuity licenses. She has enjoyed more than 20 years in the financial services profession.

Together with Rebecca Kennell, Gail founded Custom Financial Design to offer more customized solutions to client's specific financial needs and to bring a new level of service to the table. With clarity and a full range of independent financial planning they focus on what is truly best for a client's financial future without any internal conflict.

Gail realizes that financial planning is a life-time process that addresses your ever-changing circumstances which is the foundation of her advice and service to you. A sensitive partner in the process, she is intuitive to your needs, will honor your confidentiality, and will uphold the highest ethical standards. She takes personal interest in her client's creating individual strategies to help ensure their financial security today and in the future. With a clear understanding of your financial situation and your values as they relate to your plan, she will assist you in bringing enthusiasm and financial vigor to your life.

She gives back to the community by participating in charitable spin marathons, is on the Executive board of her Church Council, is Vice President of Japan-America Society of Arizona and, together with Rebecca, is a long time speaker volunteer at Fresh Start Woman's Resource Center covering a variety of financial presentations designed to help women to better navigate their personal finances. She is a member of The Scottsdale Char Woman and The Financial Services Institute. An elder and caregiver advocate, Gail and her rescue puppy, TUX, will be training as a pet partner team to conduct uplifting visits to Elder homes.

She graduated honor roll from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree from WP Carey School of Business, an International Business Certificate, and minors in both Japanese and English.

Gail enjoys spending time with her husband, Geno, his two daughters and grandbaby, Caiden. Other interests include athletic activities, cooking, travel and the arts.

Rebecca S. Kennell, CFP^®,MBA
Financial Advisor

Co-founder of Custom Financial Design, Rebecca is an independent CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^™ professional, an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network, and a well-respected financial advisor working in the Phoenix area.

She focuses on providing financial planning and investment advisory services to the clients of the firm. Rebecca's approach is to build a trusting relationship with her clients that focuses on the meaning and purpose of money in their life. Together, they make financial decisions that support their unfolding life's plan and its financial requirements. Her purpose is to help her clients connect their money, their values and their life. Rebecca has published numerous financial articles for valley-wide publications and has appeared on televised financial talk shows. She is a near-native Arizonan, having attended high school in Scottsdale, and she has received several degrees from Arizona State University including a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music Education. She received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Rebecca holds FINRA licenses 6, 7, 63, 66, Life/Health insurance and Managed Futures Registration through Commonwealth Financial Network.

Rebecca is active in the community and has served on several nonprofit boards to promote the arts, education, and a better life for all Arizonans. She is a member of Valley Leadership class 29 and currently serves on the Alumni Committee. A long time speaker volunteer at Fresh Start Woman's Resource Center, she delivers financial presentations on budgeting, saving, and investing.She has also been on The Phoenix Women's Commission Economic Forum which aired on Phoenix channel 11.

In her spare time, Rebecca is the longtime Musical Director of Carmela y Mas and The Diva Band. She is known for her Latin Jazz trumpet sounds and R&B arrangements. Rebecca is also an avid reader and enjoys hiking with her schnauzers Ella & Sarah.
